Maria A. Lopez, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Lopez grew up in Colombia, S.A. She attended the Medical School at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin, Colombia. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Montefiore Hospital & Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and also trained in Anesthesiology at St. Elizabeth Hospital - Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Lopez has broad experience in infectious diseases, travel medicine, and ADHD management. She is board certified and has been practicing Pediatrics in New London County since 1996.
Kathryn M Cambi, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Cambi grew up in Buffalo, NY, where she also received her medical degree from the State University of New York, School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford. She is board certified in general pediatrics, and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (A.A.P.). Dr. Cambi worked in two pediatric offices in Hamden and Ansonia prior to joining Flanders Pediatrics. She has a special interest in early development and genetic disorders.
Amie Frederick, PA-C
Amie is a 2010 graduate of Saint Michaels College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology; she is also a 2015 graduate of the University of Colorado with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and an Associate Degree in Child Health. She is a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) and comes to us with a wide variety of experience in primary care pediatrics. She has strengthened her skills at two highly regarded and competitive primary care offices prior to her arrival at Flanders Pediatrics and has done a wide variety of clinical rotations at the Children's Hospital of Denver.
AMY BLODGETT, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Amy Blodgett grew up in East Lyme, CT. She received her medical degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Connecticut / Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where she also served one year as a Chief Resident in Pediatrics. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Blodgett joined our practice in July 2020 and is very excited to bring her compassionate care and excellent clinical skills to our patients and families.
