My wife and I take our child to see Dr Kahn here at Flanders Pediatrics. He is amazing with our child. Really good at reassuring us with what we know and educating us in what we don’t know. We have had one or two other experiences with other doctors and nurses for urgent visits and they are wonderful; kind, and attentive. But we fully trust Dr Kahn and his ability to care for our child. Highly recommend this practice.

I found Flanders Pediatrics through countless recommendations in the East Lyme Community Forum on Facebook. Dr. Blodgett has been the pediatrician for each of my three kids since birth. I have never had a negative experience with any of the office staff, medical assistants, nurses, APRNs, or doctors. Kelly is usually paired up with Dr. Blodgett and has also been wonderful with my kids.For example, today I had to bring my daughter in with breathing trouble. They fit her in for an appointment soon after I’d called. Once we were in the exam room, they quickly assessed her and gave her the care she needed. When my two boys started to get stressed while my daughter did a nebulizer treatment, everyone helped out with them so that I could give my daughter my full attention. I got upset while she cried and our doctor looked at me and confidently assured me that my daughter would be okay….yes, I knew she’d be okay but it’s another example if how great this practice has been. My kids have always received excellent care and I’ve always felt so supported as a mother.Very grateful for everyone at Flanders Pediatrics! Thank you!!

We love Flanders Pediatrics so much. Every single person who works here has been fantastic with our kids. Dr. Lopez is our pediatrician (we love you Dr. Lopez!), and we’ve seen pretty much everyone else by now for sick visits or whatnot and have only had great experiences. Everyone listens, everyone explains things clearly with treatment plans, and no one judges you when they find a random piece of dried up bright pink play dough in your child’s ear that you didn’t even know was there (this definitely never happened, purely hypothetical). The office staff has always been kind and helpful too. It’s also so easy to get an appointment to be seen when kids are sick - we usually get an appointment for the same day or early the next day (if I’m calling in late in the day). I know my kiddos are in good hands here. Many thanks to everyone!

Switched to this Pediatrics recently (our last one was not good). The staff has been amazingly kind and helpful to us. Has a small place for kids to play in the lobby, the room we were in had kids books to entertain during a small wait, gave little rewards at the end of her check up. Very good place!

You will not find a more premiere practice in the area. I saw Dr. Lopez from the ages of 5–19 and my younger brother is still a patient there. I had an amazing experience, and always felt well cared for. The entire staff is extremely helpful, caring, and professional. Dr. Lopez treats all of her patients with the highest of priority and ensures that every child is given personalized care. Her expertise can not be understated, your child could not be in better and more loving hands. You may also see Amie, a practicing PA there, who always goes above and beyond with her care to ensure that both the patient and parent feels at ease and can answer any question you throw at her. The nursing staff is amazing, they make sure to get to know each child and their family while providing spectacular care. You will definitely get to see the head nurse Mary as she administers vaccinations as quickly and painless as possible. If you are looking for a practice that will be there for you and your child at your most vulnerable times, this is the place to be.

I have been taking my five daughters here since my oldest was born almost thirteen years ago and am beyond happy and satisfied with the compassionate staff and medical care provided to my girls since day one. From the receptionists to the nurses and doctors, they go above and beyond to make my daughters feel safe and comfortable and to make me feel like I have somewhere I can turn to when I have a concern, no matter how large or small. They treat your children how you would expect them to treat their own children or grandchild. I can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else. I could give six stars I would!

The best pediatric crew we've ever had!!

I don't know what I would do without Flanders Pediatrics and Dr. Lopez! They go above and beyond. The staff is extremely awesome and they will get you in whenever you need an appointment and the nurses are very helpful for over the phone questions. Weekend hours shared with other local Doctors offices is also a huge plus.
